“Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity.” – Kay Redfield Jamison

At Colors of the Rainbow Learning Center, LLC, our activities are carefully planned to support learning through play while meeting the unique needs and interests of each child. All activities are supervised by qualified caregivers to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

Our activities include:

  • Hands-on manipulative play, such as puzzles and building blocks
  • Supervised free play indoors and outdoors
  • Music and movement experiences
  • Story time to support early literacy
  • Group activities that encourage cooperation and social growth
  • And more enriching experiences

Rest & Nap Time

Every child is given the opportunity to rest after lunch. In accordance with Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) guidelines, children who no longer nap are asked to rest quietly for 30 minutes before transitioning to calm activities. Mats are provided for each child, and families are asked to send a blanket and sheet, which should be taken home weekly for washing.
